This post is in response to Fractured Faith’s Post about “Making Friends”
How do you make friends? or do you make friends?
I’m not a good friend, I have so much going on in my own life that I rarely take time out to keep in close contact with others. I’m not an “Introvert”, but I’m not a socialite either. I love to create art and I’m beginning to enjoy writing almost as much as I enjoy painting. I spend an inordinate amount of time at home and I try not to go out unless I need to buy things for supper or go to doctor appointments. I’ve been retired from my former job as a food server at a school cafeteria since April of this year.
I dislike talking on the phone, I figure if you really want to talk you can drop on over for coffee. In this day of “The Internet”, I am an electronic communicator …. Ha …Ha I use FaceBook, Instant Messenger, I prefer email because it gives me a larger space to write in, My all time favorite social media platforms are Twitter,Deviantart and Tumblr. I have friends on Twitter from all walks of life who live in all parts of the world and I enjoy the hell out of talking with them. We sure as heck don’t always agree on everything but we do share a common bond, and that bond is that we like to communicate.
So, no I suppose I’m not an introvert. 🙂
